I am excited!!! So excited!!!
Jason will have his medical exam tomorrow. I will have mine on the 25th. Reference letters are being written. Fingerprints will be done before Tuesday. NC Criminal background paperwork sent out on Tuesday with the said fingerprints. Meeting with Tricare to get an insurance coverage letter will take place next week. The only thing that we have left hanging is our local background check. No one seems to know who is suppose to do this and we are getting the run around. Please pray that someone will step up and tell us which direction to take!!!
Sunday I have an adoption meeting at our home. There are SEVERAL families that are either in need of home studies, updates, or post placement reports. We are all meeting to discuss getting the one social worker to do it ALL!! This will be a tremendous blessing. Unlike in the states where there is a social worker nearby, we will have to pay traveling costs for a social worker to travel down from Germany. The families that can coordinate can share that cost!!!
We are also going to be discussing a possible SILPADA fundraiser to raise the traveling expenses!!! Please pray about this fundraiser and it being used not just to bless each family involved with a little less of a financial burden but that God would be glorified and hearts would be touched. More on this fundraiser will follow next week!!!
