It was an exciting day last week when we mailed off our agency contract for Uganda and the $3500 that went with it. Grahmn is the postal guy who usually assists us in the PO when we need to mail packages....and last week was no different. He gladly posed for the picture and I am so thankful he did. One day I will be able to share the excitement with those we adopt of how just sending a simple contract in the mail did for us in the terms of hope and the future as we thought about the 2 littles that we would be bringing home one day as a result of that contract!!!
Over the last several days we have been working on our adoption credits. 14 credit hours we have to take for adopting from Uganda. Even though the process has us glued to our seats for hours on end staring at the computer screen, suffering from headaches as we read page after page and take evaluation after evaluation....it is AT least one more thing we can mark off the "to do" list and for this I am thankful!!! Our adoption credit hours cost us $225 and I still need to take a CPR class that will cost $50.
Our home study visit is this SATURDAY!!! March 10th, Jane will be visiting with us for 5 hours. At this visit we will be handing over a $2139 check for our home study fee!!!
Please be in prayer for us! We have A LOT of decisions to make prior to her visit. We must nail down our age range that we are willing to be referred and we must also have the list of special needs that we are willing to handle. These are life changing decisions.
