AMAZED....by God's Magnificent Provision

First, I must apologize for my lack of updates. Since my last post we simply have been in "wait" mode. Thus there has not been much to talk about. However, that has changed in the last 2 weeks as things are beginning to happen as we await our official referral(s). I am so stunned by God's provisions when we simply answer with a humble "yes" to His calling. After watching friends raise over $30,000 for their own adoption of two littles a year a half ago in just 4 short months, why I actually "wondered" if God could do that for us makes me want to KICK myself.....Oh me, of little faith!!! However, the mustard seed grain of faith that I have had, God is taking and moving mountains with it!!!! All I can say people is that if God calls you to something BIG and seemingly out of reach, HE WILL MAKE IT HAPPEN!He does not NEED YOU to make it happen....He just needs your obedience. Set aside the HUGE financial goal or whatever it may be ASIDE and live day by day in obedience and just watch as HE moves the mountains!!!! So on with the update and exciting news.... Around the middle of March, we were DONE with our part of the paperwork and that is when the waiting began. After 6 weeks of waiting, the Rome Embassy contacted us on May 29th and gave us our 1600A approval to immigrate orphans, thus completing our dossier. Our completed dossier was sent to Kampala June 4th!!! IN the meantime, we are still playing the waiting game for referral(s) and word on grant money being awarded to us. Monday June 13th we heard from Life-song Ministries that they DID NOT have money to grant us, but they could grant us tax-deductible fundraising capabilities for individuals who wish to support our adoption cause and want to receive a tax-deductible receipt!!! This is a tremendous blessing that we will take advantage of to raise our STATESIDE adoption cost and post-placement visit report of approximately $4500. Yesterday, we received even more exciting news. The JSC foundation granted us an $8500 grant to pay for all of the UGANDA referral, lawyer, court, and paperwork fees!!!! We are FLOORED to say the least....and extremely grateful for yet another amazing provision!!! With the grant paying for all of our UGANDA fees, we are able to move the money we had been saving up for that to our travel costs....and guess what..... WE ARE NOW fully funded for travel when the time arrives!!!!! I just want to thank everyone for your prayers. I cannot wait to update you next with referral information.
