After returning home from a VERY fun girls afternoon around my Silpada jewelry the message came in!!! I screamed..."the pictures are here!!!" What happened next, I could only wish that I had a video of. Jadon, Adah, Jason, and I began to race up two flights of stairs, squealing with delight, and then fighting over who was getting the chair and pulling up face book for the message! What met us in that message brought tears of joys, giggles from the kids, and a plastered grin to my face! THEY ARE beautiful. I cannot wait to share their little faces with all of you! The love that Ekubo ministries and their staff has shown them since they arrived is EVIDENCE that GOD'S LOVE changes LIVES!!! They were smiling, happy, and had light in their eyes!!! Just Thursday, they learned we would be coming soon for them and also were given the news that we are MZUNGA's (white people)!!! To George's surprise and my relief, they responded with excitement!
Today I came home from church and began to pack yet another bag. Bag # 2 as seen below holds clothing for Duncan and Mark. It also contains 750 dumdums and 2 kilos of noodles. I am sure if it is still under weight we may squeeze in a few other food items. Not only are we taking goodies for the children at the babies home and George and Christie of Ekubo, we also plan to prayerfully spend a few days in the south towards the end of our time in Uganda with Bro Tom Tract and his family who are missionaries in Mbarara thus we will also be picking up goodies for their family and ministry as well!
I thinkest that this may be-est the longest 2 weeks of my life!!!!
June 16th...get here quickly!
